Fishing Guides shoot doves
Making a living on the saltwater is a great lifestyle for coastal fishing guides, and they are richly blessed with experiences in their pursuit of scales and tails. So what do fishing guides do for fun on their day off? If it's a Saturday in September these sportsmen head for the nearest dove field in an attempt to get in some trigger time. They are happy to raise their shotguns towards winged 'grey birds' and to also allow their dogs some 'feathers in the mouth' moments. Captain Mark Phelps said, 'I got more sun in the dove field today than out fishing, because my sunscreen stays in my boat, and besides, I had not shot doves in a few years.'

Good to see these guys out of their 'offices' and enjoying a day without the pressures of guiding. They have great jobs that most people envy, but they probably look forward to breaks like these just like everyone else does!
