Lewis Warr of Wilson Hall School accepts his $1500 top prize.

Warr, Chapman Win Youth Shooting Championship

The SCDNR held the SC Youth Shooting Foundation's State Sporting Clays Championship on May 11 at Rocky Creek Sporting Clays in Richburg. Wilson Hall School's Lewis Warr won the male division, and Newberry's 4H Shooting Club member Victoria Chapman came out on top of the female division. n Warr and Chapman each won $1500.

Hammond School's Jake Nidiffer finished 2nd in the male division with Haylea Carter representing Rocky Knoll taking 2nd in the female division. Both shooters took $1000 in prize money.

Taking $500 for third place in the male division was Pendleton's Adam Willey, and Mary Anna Mason from Laurence Manning Academy pocketed the same for third in the female division.
