Derrill Hiott - 7 Pointer taken in Greenwood County on Abbewood Hunting Club. I was just about to shoot a very large doe, when i saw her turn and look away as if something was coming. about 5 seconds later this boy comes trotting towards her. He is now being mounted! Fortunately i was able to capture him on my Moultrie Trail Cam and knew that he and another larger buck was in the area.

He was standing broadside at just beyond 120 yards when the crack of the .243 broke the silence of the morning. The antlers sticking up from the brown grass was a tell tale sign that the bullet had connected. Forrest likes to shoot.... Read More
