My father killed this buck late Monday afternoon just before the storm had swept in from the north.. 185 pounds with a a 19 3/4 inch spread..

Jerry Justus stopped off for some coffee and ice before he headed to Lake Keowee in his “mini

pontoon” that he built himself.

Justus runs a welding shop, and he said, “I wanted something that I really wanted.” So he built a boat that fitted him and it fishes great.

The boat is 5 x 10 feet and weighs between 350 - 400 pounds and only draws about 3 inches of water.

Frankie at Frankie's Marine Service in Seneca says, “You need to check out your boat, motor, and trailer the day before you go on the water for the first time.”

The first thing to do is check the battery water and charge. Remember if the battery water is low, add only distilled water. If the charge is good on the battery, then you are ready to try the motor.
