Thanks to the SCDNR, Laurens County has a new pistol range open to the public. The range is located at 6655 Hwy 560 near Kinards, and features a covered, 15-position firing line with shooting distances up to 50 yards. Three of the lines are handicap accessible, and a rifle range is also present.

The SCDNR held the SC Youth Shooting Foundation's State Sporting Clays Championship on May 11 at Rocky Creek Sporting Clays in Richburg. Wilson Hall School's Lewis Warr won the male division, and Newberry's 4H Shooting Club member Victoria Chapman came out on top of the female division. n Warr and Chapman each won $1500.

U.S. Third District Congressman Jeff Duncan was in the upstate Friday visiting several local gun shops as part of his “Second Amendment Listening Tour.”
Duncan said that he believes in the Second Amendment and that he scheduled this tour to “spend time listening to the people of the Third District” and give his views on what he called, “an assault on the Second Amendment.”

I have a Rem 710 30.06 w/ a Bushnell Sharpshooter, 3-9 × 40 scope and sling that I havta sell. I'll be moving in the next few months and the state i'm moving to only allows shotgun, bow, and crossbow hunting. The rifle has only been shot three times and i'm hoping to get about $350 for it.
