Rodney Cromer of Pomaria won the Nov. 18 American Bass Anglers D-96 tournament on Lake Greenwood and carried home a check for $707.
Cromer weighed in a limit of five bass that tipped the scales at 17.97 pounds. He caught his fish from the middle and lower ends of the lake, fishing spinnerbaits around docks and flipping jigs around rocky structure.

The Gaffney Bassmasters No. 3 took bragging rights at the Oct. 12-13 South Carolina B.A.S.S. Federationís Six-Man Tournament on Lake Hartwell.
Gaffney beat 41 other state teams with a weight of 120.39 pounds for the 2-day tournament. Three members of they Gaffney team qualified for the state team.

Kevin Dickson and Randy Dickson of Westminster won the Bass Anglers Invitational Trail (B.A.I.T.) Classic XII on Lake Keowee Sept. 28-29 with a two-day total of 27.79 pounds.
They won a fully rigged Nitro Z-8 bass boat.

Brandon Cobb of Greenwood won the ABA Division 96 championship tournament on Lake Greenwood Aug. 26, weighing in a 5-fish limit that pushed the scales to 15.72 pounds.
Cobb caught his fish in around mid-lake, fishing brush piles, docks, and points anywhere from 2 to 25 feet deep with crankbaits, jigs, spinnerbaits and soft plastics.

Andy Lake of Batesburg won the American Bass Anglers Division 96 season championship July 14-15 on Lake Greenwood.
On the first day, Lake was the only fisherman who brought to the scales a 5-fish limit. It weighed 11.52 pounds and put him well on the way to his winning total of 17.6 pounds, worth $796.

Nick Gainey of Charleston closed in a hurry, moving from 19th to second place on the final day of the EverStart Series Northern Division tournament on North Carolinaís Kerr Lake in mid-June.
Gainey checked in a 5-fish limit the final day that weighed 12 pounds, 12 ounces and that left him just seven ounces out of first place with a 3-day total of 35-11.

South Carolina had two anglers, Conrad Bolt and Brandon Temples, finish in the top 10 at the BFL All-American on the Potomac River out of National Harbor, Md., in mid-May.
Bolt, from Seneca, started off slowly, but on the final day he went from seventh to fifth place in the boater division, finishing with a total weight of 38 pounds, 1 ounce.

Ken Ellis of Bowman won the April 18-21 EverStart Series tournament on the Santee Cooper lakes.
Ellis came from fifth place to win on the fourth and final day when he weighed in 20 pounds for a total of 56 pounds, 5 ounces.

Pro angler Brent Ehrler from Redlands, Calif., weighed in a 20-pound limit on the final day to move up from second place and win the FLW Major Tour event on Lake Hartwell in late March.
Ehrlerís 4-day weight of 74 pounds, 13 ounces brought him the first-prize money of $100,000, plus a $25,000 bonus.

South Carolina anglers Grayson Mathis and Brandon Temples have qualified for the BFL All-American tournament by virtue of their top-5 finishes at a regional tournament on Virginiaís Smith Mountain Lake in mid-October.
